Product Overview

The MBU-50 single-phase intelligent power monitoring instrument is designed using the most modern microprocessor technology. It features comprehensive measurement capabilities, high accuracy, and easy installation. The instrument uses a large LCD screen to display data and operational status, enabling functions such as single-phase circuit power measurement, monitoring of two switch quantities, one relay output, one analog output, and intelligent communication. It is suitable for power supply and distribution sites in power plants, substations, buildings, petrochemicals, municipal facilities, and industrial mines, particularly for use in smart power distribution monitoring systems.

Performance features

  • Direct AC sampling technology is used to realize full power measurement, which can measure single-phase current, voltage, active/reactive power, power factor, frequency, active/reactive power consumption and other power parameters.
  • Use a large LCD screen with blue background and white characters and high brightness to display measurement data and running status.
  • It has two switch input and one relay contact output; the switch can be connected to active state quantity nodes, which is used to monitor the change of external switch quantity; the relay contact output is used to realize limit alarm and remote control output. (Extended function)
  • Optional 4-20mA analog transmission output function, can be easily connected to the DCS system. (Extended function)

Communication function

MBU-50 has its own RS-485 communication port, which adopts the standard MODBUS communication protocol. Through the communication port, all measurement and monitoring information can be queried.

Switch input/output relay output/limit monitoring function (extended function)

  • MBU-50 supports two active switch signal inputs (DI1~DI2), with a rated input voltage of 220VDC/VAC, 110V or 24V optional. The unique internal design of the instrument ensures that the node signal power supply can detect the state of the node whether it is AC or DC.
