WGB-603A Measure and Control Device

WGB-603A is a measure and control device designed for substation automation systems operating below 35kV. It serves as a general measure and control unit, featuring measurement, control, monitoring, and recording functions. The device can be installed directly in high voltage switch cabinets or within a screen body. It offers flexible configurations, including WGB-603A/R1 through WGB-603A/R6, tailored for specific applications.

Device introduction

WGB-603A Measure and control device mainly applies to the measure and control unit of interlayer for

substation automation system below 35kV voltage class, and also can be used as general measure and control

device by oneself. The device has measurement, control, monitoring, record and other functions. It can be directly

installed in the high voltage switch cabinet or installed in a screen body. It can be flexible configured as

WGB-603A/R1, WGB-603A/R2, WGB-603A/R3, WGB-603A/R4, WGB-603A/R5, WGB-603A/R6 according to

the occasion.

  • WGB-603A/R1 mainly applies to measurement and control for unity of each side of main transformer.

Basic configuration: six current, six voltage and two external zero sequence voltage, six DC, 81 binary inputs,

two groups of circuit breaker,7 groups of switch, three direct-control, two groups of on-load voltage regulation.

  • WGB-603A/R1 applies to common measurement and control, measurement and control for station transformer,

electric generator or auxiliary equipment.

Basic configuration: six currents, six voltages and two external zero sequence voltages, six DC, 81 binary

inputs, 7 groups of selective control, 13 direct-control.

  • WGB-603A/R3 applies to common measurement and control, measurement and control for unity of each side of

main transformer (no-load).

Basic configuration: six currents, six voltages and two external zero sequence voltages, six DC, 81 binary

inputs, 7 groups of selective control, 13 direct-control.

  • WGB-603A/R4 applies to measurement and control for line, buscouple, unilateral side of main transformer.

Basic configuration: three currents, four voltages, six DC, 81 binary inputs, one groups of circuit breaker,

eight groups of switch, five direct-control, one Synchronization output, one groups of on-load voltage regulation.

  • WGB-603A/R5 applies to measurement and control for three-section bus.

Basic configuration: three section bus voltages, three external zero sequence voltages, six DC, 81 binary

inputs, nine groups of switch, nine direct-control.

  • WGB-603A/R6 applies to measurement and control for four-section bus.

Basic configuration: four section bus voltages, six DC, 81 binary inputs, nine groups of switch, nine

direct-control.

  • The device has universal AC/DC Input Power, which has a wide adaptability :

Device has universal AC/DC auxiliary power supply; the maximum input voltage is 500V, suitable for all kinds of complicated power              supply place;

Device has universal AC/DC binary input circuit power supply, which can apply to AC or DC power supply system.

  • The device has powerful communication function, standard device configure two Ethernet and two RS485 communication port and convenient for multiple networking mode, device has flexible communication, which support IEC60870-5-103, TCP-103, IEC-104, MODBUS-RTU and other communication protocols, facilitate communication with a variety of convenient networking with various microcomputer monitoring or the protection and management.
  •  The device has rigorous time synchronization, which supports network time synchronization, PPS, PPM or B codes and other time synchronization mode.
  • Using dual 32-bit high performance embedded microcomputer processor, RAM and flash memory with large capacity; using SOC solution, which greatly enhanced the capability of data processing, logic operation and information storage and advanced operational speed and reliability.
  • The device uses 16 high precision A/D for data acquisition, collecting 64 points per cycle, which has high measuring accuracy.
  • Back inserted and drawn modules, strong and weak electricity separation; enhanced unit chassis designed for resisting strong vibration and interference, which can be scattered installed on the switch cabinet.
  • The device can keep four groups of records, altogether 400 recent event records and operation records.
  • It has liquid crystal display, English display and menu operation.
  • Real-time multitasking operating system, modular programming; real-time, high reliability.
  • There are 8 sets of protection settings, which are safe and convenient to switch.
  • Device is configured with six DC measurements, which is convenient for industrial customers to gather
    data and extend control functions.
  • Device has rich resource of binary input and binary output, binary input is up to 81 channels, and relay output is up to 28 channels, base which it is convenient to extend or control signal output.
  • Integration of protection and measuring control function, single device can complete the main function.
